While Marvel is gearing up for its ultimate baddie Thanos, DC is still just at the tip of the ice-berg. Now read as I count down my list of the five most anticipated DC villains!
This sinister Green Lantern villain was once a lantern himself. But after abusing his awesome power, he was discharged from his duties. In return, he equipped the yellow power ring, and proceeded on his journey to rule the universe.
Sinestro is one of DC's most powerful villains, and is almost guaranteed to appear in its cinematic universe at one time or another.
At number four is Deathstroke, a villain who's often compared to the Batman himself. He was originally a soldier in the U.S army, and ended up going through with a super soldier project. Which in return gave him enhanced strength, agility, and intelligence. Throughout history he's been at odds with many heroes, most notably Batman, Green Arrow, and the Teen Titans. And he's also been on several teams, including the Suicide Squad.
Deathstroke is definitely a villain fans want to see in DC's extended universe. And I personally can't wait to see him fight Batman on the big screen!
3. Black Adam
This powerful DC villain is already set to appear 2019's 'Shazam' movie. And will be played by none other than 'The Rock' himself (perfect casting right?). Besides Captain Marvel himself, this guy has been at odds with plenty DC heroes, including Superman. And is definitely gonna be a problem for plenty heroes in the DC extended universe.
2. The Joker
Fans weren't sure if anyone could possibly top Heath Ledgers portrayal of the Joker in the 'Dark Knight'. But a few pictures, some reviews, and a trailer later, plenty of people are starting to come around to Jared Leto's version of DC's most infamous villain.
Darkseid is the most anticipated DC villain by far. The excitement surrounding his entrance into DC's extended universe equates Marvel's Thanos, perhaps even more. And he'll definitely be giving every single DC hero a run for their money.
I did leave some villains out, including Doomsday. But that's another list of its own. So stay tuned.
