Did you know that the shrill-toned Joker in Arkham Origins and the gravelly-voiced Joel in The Last of Us were both brought to life by the same guy? That versatile voice box belongs to the most prolific actor currently working in video games: Mr. Troy Baker.

If you've played any major console game in the last five years, chances are you've already heard this talented man in action. To prove it, PlayStation caught up with Troy, asking him to impersonate his many characters in this hilarious video. Check it out below:

No wonder game studios are lining up to hire him -- this guy's got raw talent. But among his long list of voice performances, a few stand out from the rest...

Top 4 Most Iconic Troy Baker Performances

4. Booker DeWitt - Bioshock Infinite

A standout Baker performance -- he sells the former Pinkerton agent's confusion amidst the clouds with theatrical aplomb.

3. Revolver Ocelot - Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

Many were skeptical about Troy taking over from Ocelot voice veteran Patric Zimmerman, but I thought his Southern drawl was marvelous.

2. Pagan Min - Far Cry 4

This raving psychopath was the highlight of the game in my opinion, and it was all down to his acutely unnerving voice.

1. Joel - The Last of Us

Few voice actors are able to pull off the dead serious subject mater The Last of Us delves into, but Troy proved himself to be an industry leader with this fantastic -- not to mention heartbreaking -- performance.

Look out for Baker's upcoming role as Nathan Drake's quipping brother, Sam, in 2016's Uncharted 4.
