Brian Williams' daughter, Girls actor, and Peter Pan Live star Allison Williams can now add 'Lead in a Feature Film' to her resume with the Jordan Peele-directed project Get Out. Of course, Peele recently made headlines when he and his comedy partner Keegan Michael Key announced they were done with their sketch comedy show Key and Peele.

Clearly, Mr. Peele is not just sitting around after the success of the Comedy Central show. With this project and a collaboration project with Key and Henry Selick entitled Wendell and Wild on the horizon, he'll be plenty busy and hopefully quite successful to boot.

The movie will be set around a black man who visits his white girlfriend’s family estate but not very many other details from the plot are known at this point. Peele had this to say about the racial dynamic of the film, which I think will resonate in this political climate.

“takes on the task of exploring race in America, something that hasn’t really been done within the genre since Night Of The Living Dead 47 years ago. It’s long overdue.”

Jason Blum and QC Entertainment's Sean McKittrick and Edward H. Hamm Jr. are on as producers. Blumhouse’s Couper Samuelson is executive producing alongside QC’s Ray Mansfield and Shaun Redick.
