The 2004 film adaptation of the poular book series, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, had phenomenal stars, and a fantastic plot. But, do you remember the stars that played the Baudelaire children? Violet, Klaus, and Sunny? Well, neither do I! So, let's look at what their up to now!
Violet Baudelaire- Emily Browning
The now 26 year old, Emily Browning, played the inventive sibling, Violet. After her role of the oldest Baudelaire child, Emily took a break from acting and finished her schooling. In 2006 she graduated from Eltham High School in Australia. In 2009 she got back into acting by starring in The Uninvited along side Elizabeth Banks and Arielle Kebbel. Ever since she got back into acting she's been in a handful of great movies such as Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch, The Host, Pompeii, and the upcoming film starring Tom Hardy, Legend!
Klaus Baudelaire- Liam Aiken
After playing the role of Klaus, 25 year old Liam Aiken went on to graduate from Dwight Englewood School in New Jersey back in 2008. Since then, he's done a whole lot of movies and television shows! He's starred in The Killer Inside Me, Ned Rifle, Weepah Way For Now, Mad Men, and so much more! Back in 2011 he even read for an audio book version of Who Could That Be At This Hour?, the first installment of All the Wrong Questions, a prequel series to A Series of Unfortunate Events. Then, 2 years later he read for the second installment the series.
Sunny Baudelaire- Shelby and Kara Hoffman
The now 13 years old Hoffman twins haven't done much acting besides a few episodes of General Hospital when they were toddlers. Although, they have appeared on multiple episodes of The Kroll Show as themselves on Comedy Central. Other than that, the twins haven't done much since their infamous roll of Sunny. Hopefully, we'll get to see more of them when they're older!
Are you surprised by how much these kids have grown up? Let me know!
Thank you for reading!
