It seems like every couple of days we are getting new casting news from the two week old, Supergirl.
Now a Buffy: The Vampire Slayer star is joining the cast... but which one?
Here's is a hint...
Bunnies. Bunnies. It must be bunnies!
(If you didn't get that, I suggest a Buffy marathon is in order!)
That's right, Emma Caulfield is the newest addition to the cast of Supergirl.
The former Buffy star will play Cameron Chase, an FBI agent with "little sympathy," and according to the official Supergirl description:
"After her father’s violent murder, Cameron Chase decided to dedicate her life to law enforcement. Now a stern, no holds barred FBI agent, Chase’s weapons of choice are manipulation and manpower. With little sympathy, and plenty of suspicions, she pursues her targets with ruthless determination."
Making her first appearance in Batman #550, Cameron Chase went on to star in her own comic book series. Chase was written by Dan Curtis Johnson and illustrated by J.H. Williams III, it lasted for ten issues.
Most recently in The New 52, Cameron Chase was sent to Gotham City to capture Batwoman and in an attempt to arrest her, Chase get's her arm broken.
Aside from playing Anya on Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Caulfield has also starred in Darkness Falls, Timer, Life Unexpected and Royal Pains.
Emma Caulfield has also starred in Once Upon a Time and it was recently announced she will return for the shows 100th episode as the Blind Witch.
Emma Caulfield + Supergirl = An episode I am most definitely going to watch! Anya was one of my favourite characters on Buffy and no, I'm still not over that final scene in the finale!
