The most insane month in Video Games is finally upon us. November will see the release date of [Star Wars: Battlefront](tag:2684021), the Bloodborne expansion pack, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Black Ops 3, and of course, Fallout 4. It'll be difficult to decide which titles to actually pick up and forego until later, but I think we'll all manage somehow.

But aside from the Fallout 4s in our lives, we have two massive multiplayer titles on the horizon, and I'm wondering where exactly your loyalties lie! Star Wars: Battlefront promises to throw us into some of the most intense Star Wars battles we can dream of before the release of [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](tag:711158), whereas Doom looks like a modern take on a classic that should keep us all riveted.

Doom vs Star Wars: Battlefront - Which Multiplayer Has Your Vote?

When you look at the Bethesda-produced Doom, what do you see? Are you excited for ID Software's return to this revolutionary franchise? As a gamer who's never interacted with the Doom games in a really substantial way, I can see elements of the game that might be attractive to a newcomer. ID's engine is spectacular, their nostalgia-infused gunplay is always beautiful, and we do love their extreme violence.

But at the same time, the E3 demonstration of Doom didn't really blow me away. It looks like a game that'll be a lot of fun to run around with, but I can't see it taking on the sensation of running next to an AT-AT, while an X-Wing flies over head, as you run around as Darth Vader. Does Doom have enough going for it to make it stand out as a great multiplayer experience in this day and age? Or is it just a nostalgic throwback for fans of the franchise?

Which Release Date Would You Opt For?

If presented with the opportunity to replace the release date that Star Wars: Battlefront is currently holding, November 17th, with that of Doom's, would you take it? Are you more excited to see how Doom transfers to the XBOX One and PS4? Personally, there's no real draw for me with Doom.

It doesn't seem to have anything particularly new or innovative going on. Of course, it's a continuation of a very old franchise and ID want to remain true to the source material - yet the gameplay trailers haven't inspired any kind of hype in me. Am I alone?

Do you think Star Wars: Battlefront has more going for it? Or are you a Call Of Duty gamer and hyped for Black Ops 3? Let us know where you stand in the comments below gamers!
