This may or may not be interesting news. For those not interested you should still read it just to be nice. Charles Roven spoke with Collider and revealed what we all suspected to be true regarding DC movie universe. In the interview Roven explained that DC has major plans for their heroes. Below is a sip it from the interview.

“We’ve got this sandbox of the Justice League DC characters, and we are hoping to create—this series of movies that we’ve announced are somewhat interlinked. The characters move at a throughline that hopefully will take us all the way to Justice League 2, but they also can interact in the other films as well in some way.

“So if, for example, The Flash movie or the Aquaman film is gonna come out after Justice League 1, it’s not gonna be a completely different character; that character will have evolved from Justice League 1. Wonder Woman, when we see her in Justice League 1, will have evolved from Batman v Superman. Unless we decide that in one of these stories we’re gonna do something that happened in the past and have it be more of an origination story, in which case you’ll realize how that character became what they were in the movie that they were first introduced.”

My Take:

DC will be doing something Marvel has done from the start. One difference is that DC is giving us our heroes in a team up film early with Batman v Superman. BvS will feature the title characters, Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). Rumors suggest that Flash (Ezra Miller) will make a cameo appearance. Marvel gave us each hero’s organ story then the inevitable team up. After BvS there is a slew of DC Movies set to hit theaters including a Justice League movie. As mentioned above the possibility of heroes crossing over into each others films are well within the possibly. One of the most famous team ups is Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern and Barry Allen’s Flash. There are already rumors that suggest Batman making a cameo in Wonder Women’s solo film DC’s approach is very similar to Marvel, but they have to be careful not to mimic Marvel. Fans need to see something different and refreshing, and so far with the way BvS is turning out, fans are getting just that.
