Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 is just hours away from being released on November 6, so I thought: Why not make a post about the top three maps that should be revise for the next generation of COD players? I am personally playing this new addition to COD on certain weekends - because of college - but I cannot wait to get my hands on the Giant.
Note: This is an opinion post as always!
World at War
The year of 2008 brought one of the best game modes ever, Treyarch's 'Zombies,' which allowed four players to survive and fight against the undead. Der Riese was an amazing map from its traps, to being able to use the wunderwaffe, and it's awesome Easter egg. This, as we all know, will be released to everyone who gets a season pass, or the collector’s edition, but with an alternate name, 'The Giant.' I initially wanted Nacht der Untoten to be remade, but I feel as if Der Riese is enough nostalgic for World at War. The Giant will be even more amazing, because it's going to change the timeline, whether it be for the greater good or evil.
Call of Duty: Black Ops was like Modern Warfare 2 to COD4, in the sense of it just got even better and is on every COD player’s favorites list out of the series. Black Ops had an amazing story with Mason, Reznov, and Frank Woods, but also got back to the original roster of zombie head-snatchers. The one weird thing that I have noticed, though, about Black Ops' zombies level is that not one of its maps have been remade for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, but we're getting another remake for Der Riese. One of my favorite zombie maps of all-time, Kino der Toten should be remade ASAP, because it was so awesome, from the theatre, to the thunder gun - this map is exactly what the community needs again.
Black Ops 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is my favorite Zombies game compared to the rest of the series, because the maps were different; it was more packed with content, and the bosses were fun. When Black Ops 2 was released on Nov 12, it gave us 'Tranzit,' which was the largest and most optimistic map in Zombies history, with a whole new cast and time period, I would like to see Treyarch finish those characters story, but it might not happen. The one map that is a must for returning to Zombies of this game is 'Buried,' because it was a great spectacle. It had the most difficult Easter egg to me, and of course, it had some of the best build-ables. I think that Buried was a very easy map, but I would like to see what has happened to Leroy since then.
