After assuring us that trailer 3 would be the last, Disney sneakily released another international trailer for Star Wars 7. If this wasn't exciting enough, the new trailer has revealed tons of new footage that might just confirm our most popular fan theories! Check it out...

Just like trailer 3, this new internationally released trailer definitely positions Rey as the main protagonist of Force Awakens, but this isn't all the trailer appears to be hinting at. As many fans have theorised since her role was announced it seems that Rey just might be... a Skywalker!

Rey Is Waiting For Her Family

This is the vital revelation from the trailer, that changes everything we thought we knew about the simple scavenger. Despite telling Maz Kanata that she's "no-one", Rey opens up to little BB-8 when she finds the new droid on Jakku. Clearly sympathising with the robot's loneliness and possible abandonment, Rey shares her secret...

Thanks to Daisy Ridley's teaser that Rey's story begins with her as a "solitary" scavenger, the idea that Rey might be related to the original films' trio of heroes has been popular for a while now. There's actually a lot more evidence to suggest that than you might expect, but before we get to that, there's one more key point from the trailer that implies another familial connection for Rey...

Kylo Ren Is Her Brother?

Again, this is something fans have theorised since the beginning: that both Rey and Kylo Ren are lost Skywalker siblings. Does that sound familiar? It should, and not just because this is basically the plot of the original trilogy.

In the Extended Universe, the twin children of Leia and Han Solo seem to mirror Kylo Ren and Rey's roles, with Jacen turning to the Dark Side and Jaina defeating her twin brother. And it looks like The Force Awakens might be set to have a similar plot. Firstly, we've got more of Kylo Ren talking to Darth Vader's helmet...

"I will fulfill our destiny - I will finish what you started."

Our destiny? That certainly seems to suggest that Kylo Ren is related to Darth Vader! Put that together with Rey searching for her lost family, and it's easy to jump to the conclusion that this is part of the same story. And we probably won't have to wait a long time to find out, as Kylo Ren and Rey definitely have a confrontation in the film!

We already knew Kylo Ren would have a conversation with Rey at the very least, thanks to this piece of dialogue revealed by a Kylo Ren action figure...

"Is it true? You're just a scavenger?"

It's not much, but this short line suggests plenty of options for Kylo and Rey. First of all, Kylo Ren's tone of voice definitely sounds like disappointment, which means he probably senses how strong Rey is in the Force. And we've might have had confirmation that she's Force Sensitive!

A New Power Awakens

Admittedly, this is just a Duracell commercial, but when it was released late last week it made a storm on the internet. Why? Well, take a look for yourself!

Little Rey clearly uses a Force push when fighting off the invading Stormtroopers, before teaming up with her brother to defend their house (aw!). Are Disney giving us a hint that Rey is Force Sensitive?

Well, if we didn't follow a character learning to use the Force then it wouldn't really be Star Wars, would it! As for Rey being a Skywalker, it's highly likely that Luke is actually talking to Rey in the second trailer...

"The Force is strong in my family. My father had it. I have it. My sister has it. You have that power too."

Because this line mirrors Luke's revelation to Leia, it definitely seems like he's speaking to someone he's related to.

Then we've also got Maz Kanata telling Rey that the Force is calling to her in trailer 3... Could it be that The Force Awakens title actually refers to Rey and her journey to harness her latent Force abilities? It's looking more and more likely, especially with this parting line from Maz Kanata in trailer 4...

"Hope is not lost today. It is found."

This strikes a parallel between Rey as the new power awakening in The Force Awakens, and Luke being the new hope for the galaxy in A New Hope.

If this is true, we can definitely spin this off into new speculation. Will Rey be the one to redeem Kylo Ren as Luke redeemed Vader? How will Rey handle her Force abilities? Will she turn to the Dark Side? The questions never end for Star Wars 7, but one thing's for certain: Rey's probably the most important character of the film!
