So I had the pleasure of visiting this years annual Belfast film and Comic at the Odyssey's SSE Arena in Northern Ireland Belfast. I was pleasantly surprised at how many things there were to do at this event.
The booking system for the convention was very simple and many people got their tickets in time, however for the few that never there's always next year!
Upon entering I was automatically greeted by staff, The smell of an open food area and eager cosplayers bustling round to take photographs and show off their hard work.
The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as we reached the Con floor where traders had stalls full of nerdy merchandise, many of the guests doing talks throughout the day and costume contests held on the stage located near the back of the hall.
I will admit it was hard finding my way around for the first half of the day but after a while I was able to navigate pretty nicely, it seems very crowded but when you're in the middle of it all you don't have time to worry about stuff like that! You are too thrilled to be surrounded by such wonderful people.
Not only where there stalls but there were sets great for photo opportunities! A wonderful touch and many people loved them!
Over all my time at the convention was amazing! But the cosplayers were definitely the cherry on the cake! even with all the amazing star guests on site these guys stole the show, amazing work and wonderful people! Willing to take photographs with children and families. Hours of dedication and stressing goes into these costumes and I'm gonna go through some of the talent that was spotted on my journey.
I am psyched for next year and cannot wait to see everyone again! I have made a lot of friends as did many people! Roll on 2016!
