We here at Moviepilot are a community of people who write to express our interest in things in the movie industry, and in other places. But lately, I've wondered, why am I, personally, here to contribute? What am I doing? To be perfectly honest, I saw other people get some cool stuff, and that was part of my motivation. But as I got farther and farther into the program, I realized it wasn't all typing and prizes. It was intense work that I found, to my surprise, that it was actually fun. I'm here, a lazy butt, and I'm spending hours at my laptop typing stories and articles to appeal to dozens of types of readers. Not only have I learned how to title an article, I've learned how to format, word, and edit. I've done things that I wouldn't have thought myself capable of a few months ago. I've learned how to efficiently make a deadline, and do it so that the staff at the Moviepilot office is not overwhelmed. I just wanted to thank The staff for allowing me to participate in this program, and teaching me how to structure and write more articles in the span of six weeks than I ever have in my life. Thanks, guys. :)
