Now, I'm not one that follows all of the live Disney princess news, but with Chloe Grace Moretz being one of the best up-and-coming actresses, hearing that she is involved with the live-action remake piqued my interest.

A live-action remake of The Little Mermaid has been in the works for a while now, having moved into development last year, and directors and cast members have signed on and off since planning began. Now, with the rom-com master Richard Curtis at the helm of the script, there’s finally some movement. Chloe Grace Moretz confirmed on Instagram that she will star in the highly anticipated film as none other than Princess Ariel herself:

That's right, folks; Chloë Grace Moretz is our new Princess Ariel! We've seen her versatility in acting with movies such as Kick Ass, Carrie, and If I Stay, so I have no doubt that she will do a great job.
