This past year, DC lit the world on fire with the release of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad trailers. While Suicide Squad gave us our first look at the Joker, fans were truly awestruck by Batman v Superman. The trailer gave us our first look at Lex Luthor and showed Batman and Superman duking it out. You can check that out here:

Since Comic-Con, fans have been anxiously waiting for new official content from Warner Bros. Well, thanks to producer Charles Roven, we may know when that might happen!

A new Batman v Superman trailer is set to release this year!

As we venture through November and December to round out the year, we will be getting some brand new BvS footage to get us all excited again for March! Speaking with Collider, Charles Roven had this to say:

Honestly, you're going to be seeing something very soon," he teased, "I don't know how you define soon but certainly before the end of the year, how about that?”

As of right now, the film still has about 1500 VFX shots that are still being worked on in post-production but Charles Roven has assured us that we will be getting some awesome new content soon! Hopefully they don't reveal too much, I'm loving all the mystery that is going behind the anticipation for this film!

Don't expect BvS to be overcrowded with characters

With the long awaited introduction of the Justice League, many have feared that this film will be overstuffed with new characters not named Batman or Superman. We are going to see Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Ezra Miller's rendition of The Flash. All of this packed into one film could be a lot, but Charles Roven thinks we have nothing to worry about!

"I don’t think that’s an issue for this film at all. I really don’t… I think that the film is called Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, so there’s a reason it’s called Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and not Dawn of Justice: Batman v Superman. So you’re gonna invest mostly in Batman v Superman and I think that you’ll find other characters in there that you hopefully will want to see more of."

Makes sense. The film's primary focus will be on Batman and Superman, with Wonder Woman involved and a sprinkle of both Aquaman and The Flash. So, if you are worried about this being an overcrowded film, fear not! Now only one question remains...

"Do you bleed?"
