Set photos of Doctor Strange have been revealed recently showing Benedict Cumberbatch roaming the streets of Nepal. The photos suggest that this movie is going to epic in every manner and will prove to be a safe bet for Marvel.

That beard though!
That beard though!

Judging from the pictures, so far we've learned that Stephen Vincent Strange is homeless and is probably in search of something or someone. We also get a good look at Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo.

Now in the comics, Strange was involved in a car accident that severely damaged the nerves in his hands. To revive his hands, Stephen puts his luck in every rumored treatment, in an attempt to gain back his full dexterity. After hearing about the mystical Ancient One, he decides to visit him (this hints that he's probably looking for the Ancient One in the set photos). However, the old sorcerer refused to cure him and instead offers to teach him mysticism. Strange rejects the offer at first, but upon witnessing the immense power of the Ancient One's magic, he decides to give up his selfish desires and learn the art of mysticism.

If you pay attention to his hands, they are bandaged. He is in the Himalayas to find a cure for them.

Here's a closer look...

Furthermore, he has changed the bandage here

It seems to be more on his fingers now rather than his palm. This could mean that the Ancient One has decided to cure his hands. The shots could be of the time during the treatment. Maybe the incident has been slightly changed in the movie, but I could be wrong.

Will the Ancient One accept Vincent's request? Will director Scott show us a flashback of the car accident? Only time will tell...
