The almost indecently muscled Mike O'Hearn has been cast in the new He-Man Masters of the Universe movie, and although we don't know who he will be just yet, he definitely has steely enough thighs to sit proudly astride the mighty Battle Cat!

Bodybuilder and model Mike O'Hearn posted the news that he had been cast in the movie on his Instragram account while explaining to fans that he needs to drop a little weight for his role, he wrote:

My Goal: Take off 30 pounds of lean muscle and get a whole new physique to get ready for the movie !!

While there is no denying that his almost comically triangular figure is totally true to He-Man's cartoonish physique, O'Hearn might be considered a little old for the role at 46.

No stranger to performing, O'Hearn is a four time Mr. Universe and you might remember him from the 2008 series of American Gladiator where has was the team captain, Titan. Along with his fitness centric roles, O'Hearn has appeared in the movies Barbarian, Keeper of Time, and had a minor supporting role alongside Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn in Death Becomes Her.

All I'm going to say is that if this dude isn't He-Man, then the dude who is cast is going to have a massive loin cloth to fill to overpower the competition, just check out some of the insane snaps below to see what I mean:
