It looks like American Horror Story is getting a season 6! That's right, you heard me, AHS is getting another season to add to their list. The new installment is set to debut in 2016 but no title or theme has been released yet. The news comes as AHS: Hotel, continues to wow the crowds every Wednesday nights on FX.

By far, the American Horror Story franchise created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck is the most watched series on FX history. The entire franchise has paved a new of television form. Both Murphy and Falchuck always creatively challenge their team in entertaining and frightful ways.

FX's CEO, John Landgraf, has noted that the AHS franchise has definitely left its mark within the television ranks. He also notes that the creators continue to push the boundaries with each season:

“With the sixth installment coming next year, ‘American Horror Story’ has unquestionably joined the ranks of television’s landmark series, from ‘Murder House’ to ‘Hotel,’ AHS has pioneered a new television form as well becoming FX’s highest rated show — while also pushing every conceivable boundary of creative excellence and audacity. This is even more remarkable because Ryan and co-creator Brad Falchuk tear up the playbook every year, challenging the entire creative team to come up with something even more spectacular, frightful and entertaining. You could not ask more of an artist, their team or a series and with every new installment they deliver.”

This has me undoubtedly excited to see what Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck will create for season 6. I hope season 6 will be just as twisted and creative as the entire franchise has been since the beginning. Everyone keep your eyes peeled for another season of American Horror Story that will be debuting sometime in 2016!
