One Direction's new single 'Perfect' – the second hit from their new album 'Made in the A.M.' – is the topic of much speculation amongst fans. Some of the One Direction fanbase are convinced that 'Perfect' is a direct response to Taylor Swift's song 'Style,' supposedly an ode to the time Taylor and Harry spent dating...

Harry Styles himself refused to give a direct answer to People:

"I think people interpret songs in different ways. I'm never going to tell someone what a song's about because I feel like it's up to them."

Bandmate Louis Tomlinson was a teeny-weeny bit more revealing, but pretty much echoed Harry's non-committal tone:

"I think everybody draws from personal experiences, so of course to a degree I'm sure that influenced some of it. Down to specifics to who that song is exactly about, that's fan's interpretation, I suppose."

I agree with the boys that music is very open to interpretation... but what do you guys think?
