Recently outside the steps of Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre, the original voice of Disney's Jasmine, Lea Salonga, made the hearts of Disney fans and musical theater geeks alike soar. The Tony Award-winning actress as she serenaded the crowd with one of her most popular songs, 'A Whole New World.'

With the Hamilton star and creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda, the pair sang at the unofficial Hamilton pre-show, 'Ham 4 Ham.' With a melodica accompanying them, the couple performed the beautiful duet, taking on the roles of Aladdin and Jasmine and wowing the crowds with their stunning vocals.

Watch the video below to get a sense of the acoustic magic of Salonga and Miranda's voices.

Even though the vocals for Aladdin were recorded over 20 years ago, Lea Salonga's voice has only gotten richer and fuller with time. Salonga also recently performed 'A Whole New World' alongside her original Aladdin cast mate, Brad Kane, earlier this year on ABC News.

This is one song that never seems to get old. The cascading vocals really make you feel as if you're soaring, tumbling, and freewheeling through the night sky, and takes me straight back to my childhood.

Lin-Manuel Miranda will soon become even closer to the Disney family. He's currently writing the music for the upcoming animated film Moana, which will be released this time next year.
