Warning: Please be aware that what you are about to see will make you hot under the collar...for it is the season of the Redheads!!!!!!!!

Being one of the most famous and celebrated redheaded actresses in the world today, I thought, what could be a more fitting tribute to the truly talented and stunning Nicole Kidman than a selection of her top 7 movies to date.

Born Nicole Mary Kidman on 20th June 1967, this Australian import actress and film producer has performed in over 74 movies to date, also producing 5 movies and being on 9 soundtracks. With one of the most recognizable faces on the showbiz scene, she has come a very long way since staring in her first film Skin Deep in 1983. She is also the hottest topic of conversation on RedheadDates who have one of the largest followings for the love of the flame haired beauties.

The Others

This Classic from 2001 won 3 Saturn Awards which saw Kidman win Best Actress for her role as Grace Stewart; a devout Roman Catholic mother who lives in a remote county house with her 2 children Anne and Nicholas. Things take a strange turn as the feelings of others that are not in this world start taking over the house, they start to realize that not all is what it seams. Also staring Fionnula Flanagan, Christopher Eccleston, Elaine Cassidy, Eric Sykes, Keith Allen and many others, this star studded supernatural horror written and directed by Alejandro Amenábar will leave you with the creeps.

The Hours

With the amazing makeup effect for this masterpiece, Kidman is unrecognizable in her role here as Virginia Woolf in this moving and heart felt movie that will touch your heart. Directed by Stephen Daldry in 2002, the casting for this film was done perfectly with Stephen Dillane, Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore and Miranda Richardson also staring in this film.

Moulin Rouge!

If you like your movies raunchy then Kidman's portrayal of Satine will get you hot and steamy as she plays the terminally-ill star of the Moulin Rouge in this musical extravaganza. Staring along side her is Ewan McGregor, Jim Broadbent, Richard Roxburgh, John Leguizamo, Jacek Koman, Caroline O'Connor, Lara Mulcahy, Garry McDonald and many other talented stars under the watchful eye of the amazing Baz Luhrmann who directed, produced, and co-written the production.

Practical Magic

Let Kidman put a spell on you with this family favorite from 1998. Starring Sandra Bullock as her sister, this romantic comedy film is based on the 1995 novel by Alice Hoffman. The film was directed by Griffin Dunne and also stared, Stockard Channing, Dianne Wiest, Aidan Quinn and Goran Visnjic. With these witches watch them cast spell and deal with the consequences of their actions.

Eyes Wide Shut

This erotic thriller film loosely based upon Arthur Schnitzler's 1926 Novella Traumnovelle and directed, produced, and co-written by Stanley Kubrick. Nicole Kidman plays Alice Harford and works with Tom Cruise, Sydney Pollack, Marie Richardson, Todd Field and many others. I think Kidman likes to be a part of the more tongue-in-cheek films.

The Golden Compass

In this part animation fantasy adventure film, it is an amazing family favorite based on the novel by Philip Pullman's trilogy His Dark Materials. Directed by Chris Weitz and also starring Dakota Blue Richards, Freddie Highmore, Daniel Craig and Sam Elliott. Kidman who plays Mrs. Coulter, an influential woman with the money and power is another stunning performance from this Redhead babe.

Dogville

A Drama film written and directed by Lars von Trier. Nicole Kidman Star as Grace Mulligan, a woman hiding from mobsters, who arrives in the small mountain town of Dogville. Also staring John Hurt as Narrator, Lauren Bacall as Ma Ginger, Chloë Sevigny as Liz Henson, and many others. Kidman really knows how to bring the drama to this superb film.
