Victor Hugo’s 1831 novel The Hunchback of Notre Dame is, according to The Tracking Board, being planned.

The story we all love was most famously putted on screen in 1996 by Disney, and became, obviously a classic. But there's a few diferences between that Disney movie and this one being made now.

1. This movie will not be made by Disney.

2. This movie will not be in the Quasimodo point of view.

3.It will be from Esmeralda's point of view.

In the original story Esmeralda is a gentle hearted Gypsy, who is a beloved (by the town people) street performer. Esmeralda assists Quasimodo after he is flogged by bringing him some water. Quasimodo instantly falls in love with her, he had never seen such kindness in his life.

But there are some men in town that have their eye targeting Esmeralda, but she has her eye on someone else. This is known as a very sad and dark story, a little bit as The Little Mermaid original book. The Little Mermaid is also having a live action adaptation, and Chloe Grace Moretz is playing the main character.

In the last few years, Disney turned their attencion to making their classics into live action. We’ve seen Maleficent and Cinderella, and now there's the live action Beauty and the Beast, Pinnochio, The Little Mermaid, Dumbo and The Jungle Book currently in the works. There are also plans for movies that focus on Genie from Aladdin and Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmations. It wont be the same Genie without Robin Williams, but maybe they'll make the character's face a little bit like Robin's just to honour his memory.

It wasn't sayd yet if this version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame will be as dark as the original story, but it's dificult for that to happen since there are so mutch kids even in our days that know and like the Disney film, and would obviously want to see this movie.

I am really looking forward to this film, specially to see what our beloved Quasimodo will look like, just as I am curious to see what the Beast will look like in the Beauty and the Beast movie coming in March, 17, 2017.

I hope Alan Rickman plays Frolo. What about you?
