Damien Darhk has been a brilliant addition to the [Arrow](tag:720988) universe, Neal McDonough's version of the character has been an incredible treat to the world of the CW's villains. His acting and deliverance has pulled this season way beyond the lackluster finale of season 3, and it's in no short part to the brilliant casting of a brilliant villain (in my opinion at least).

The promo and synopsis has been released for episode 7, and it picks up pretty much where the previous episode left off. We saw the return of Ray Palmer ahead of his Legends of Tomorrow debut, who was trapped in his shrunken form following the explosion at the end of season 3. Ray was trapped and imprisoned in a tiny box and held in the custody of Damien Darhk, which lead to another brilliant confrontation between himself and Stephen Amell's Green Arrow.

But having a tiny man trapped in a box on his office desk wasn't the only secret Darhk was keeping, it's a secret much worse than his rampant addiction to Cinnamon Toast Crunch. As it turns out, Darhk has another something - or someone - very close to Diggle hidden behind his metaphorical curtain.

For those who guessed it, you're right, Andy Diggle is still alive. Despite Diggle being told that his brother was shot and killed by Deadshot, it also looks like we'll be getting some answers regarding the recent confusion about whether or not Andy is or isn't a bad guy himself.

Here's the official episode description courtesy of the lovely folks over at the CW,

"Team Green Arrow’s ongoing battle with Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) is complicated by a shocking revelation. Thea’s (Willa Holland) bloodlust returns and she loses control in front of Alex (guest star Parker Young). James Bamford directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Keto Shimizu."

Now that we know the 'shocking revelation' mentioned above is the fact that Diggle’s brother is still alive, it’s clear that the status quo in Arrow is going to shift in a dramatic and exciting way. After all, his brother’s assassination has been a big motivator for Diggle's actions in the series, and the fact that Andy is alive and under the control of Damien Darhk is certainly going to shake things up for our team.

The action packed promo video released for episode 7 sees Ollie vow to take Darhk down, and launch a rescue mission with Diggle to save his brother Andy.

Team Arrow just can't catch a break as this season progresses, and a familiar problem comes back to haunt them again in Thea. Thanks to the episode description, we can work out that things are going to get a lot worse for poor Thea before they get any better. Without Constantine around though, how can they hope to help her quench her blood lust? We know that killing will keep Thea's demons at bay for a time, but will she resort to murder once more? Or can Ollie stop her before she goes too far?

Things this season are starting to pick up rapidly and it's turning into an incredible series already. With the pace and development being driven forward already, I can't wait for this seasons crossover event with the CW's The Flash. Both seasons so far are making for some very entertaining autumn TV. The pieces are beginning to fall into place for DC's Legends Of Tomorrow, and I take my hat off to the writers of these shows and the CW for making their little interconnected slice of the DC universe so incredibly compelling. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us.
