I played the Star Wars: Battlefront beta and had a thoroughly good time, though attempting to protect the Rebel base of Hoth was rather taxing. And that's putting it lightly.
But, easily, one of my favorite bits to come out of the thrilling and utterly mental assault on Hoth was the chance to play as both Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, Vader being my favorite of course, and severely alter the course of the game.
Shame I was terrible at it; flapping about with excitement every time Vader's boot touched snow, and getting pummeled by legions of Rebel foot soldiers that could see me springing about on the map from a mile off.
If you're like me and are in dire need of honing your Jedi or Sith ass-kicking skills, the physical copy of Star Wars: Battlefront has you covered, because whilst the game installs it allows you to embark in a mini-game where you have to wipe out increasing waves of Rebel scum.
Vader has his full moves list; the Force choke, saber throw, reflect laser fire and awkward hovering jump move, and you are impervious from death. Isn't that nice?
Star Wars: Battlefield releases 17th Nov.
