Greetings vault dweller! Are you struggling to fund your rapacious Jet addiction, or finding yourself caught short in front of a merchant when trying to buy that spanking new hunting rifle? Well, I have the perfect remedy that will solve all of your financial woes, supplying you with more caps than you'll know what to do with.

As expected, it hasn't taken long for Fallout 4 players to completely break the game's economy, discovering a rather handy infinite money glitch -- and I'm going to show you how to do it.

Step 1: Find a vendor who sells ammo

Any ammo seller will do, though Diamond City is a good place to start looking.

Step 2: Pick a type of ammo and buy every single bullet of that type

Step 3: Sell just one bullet of that ammo type back to the vendor but don't finalize the deal

Step 4: Sell the rest of the ammo type to the vendor. This will still leave you with 1 phantom bullet of ammo, which you can sell infinitely until the vendor is broke

Step 5: Bask in the pile of your newly earned riches!

A word of warning: this only works around 60% of the time, so if you don't pull it off first try then give it another go.

Bethesda is likely to fix the glitch with an upcoming patch, so get your free caps while you can!
