When I'm online and I have nothing productive to do (or I'm just procrastinating), I always enjoy leafing through behind-the-scenes photos from famous films. Sometimes the photos ruin the mystique, but other times the photos give life to wholly new stories. Here are some of my favorites.
1. 'Aliens' (1986)
"I... I'm just so lonely. Why does no one like me?"
2. 'The Dark Knight Rises' (2012)
"Ahahaha, oh Batman, you're hilarious! What are we even fighting about, man?"
3. 'Jaws' (1975)
Here's Steven Spielberg, just chilling out in a shark's mouth. What, you've never done it?
4. 'The Shining' (1980)
Here's famously intense, highly-strung, crazy director Stanley Kubrick chilling out on the set of The Shining with his daughter. Oh, and out-of-focus star Jack Nicholson is there, too. Probably waiting for his director to stop goofing around and yell "action!" already.
5. 'The Matrix' (1999)
The many faces of Hugo Weaving.
6. 'It' (1990)
Pennywise is at his least terrifying here, looking lonely and bored. Maybe he should hang out with that depressed Xenomorph...
7. 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' (1984)
Freddie Krueger, just chilling with his Walkman and some teenagers. He's not even killing them or anything.
8. 'The Avengers' (2012)
The Avengers take a break from saving the world to play a game of musical statues with Joss Whedon.
9. 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' (2009)
Bill Murray falls asleep on set. Quite literally.
Which one did you like best? Bill Murray taking a break, the sad Xenomorph, Batman and Bane sharing a joke? If you have a favorite behind-the-scenes photo, tell me about it in the comments below!
