(Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Flash Season 2)

The DC TV Universe has been expanding rapidly on The CW. Starting off with Arrow, a spinoff show The Flash was created. And now, yet another show is about to hit our TV screens in January - [DC's Legends of Tomorrow](tag:2937021). Along with shows on other networks (which are not part of the CWverse unfortunately), it surely won't be long before even more new characters are introduced.

Although Aquaman is getting his own movie in the DCEU, it's still possible that he'll be diving into any one of the TV shows (as they are in a separate universe). The Flash in particular has made several references to Aquaman.

The very first one of these came in the Pilot episode of the show. You can watch it below:

This scene was deleted from the final cut which aired on television. However, it is fairly obvious that the "man who could talk to fish" is a clear reference to one of Aquaman's "silly" abilities, which is often made fun of. On top of that, Amnesty Bay is where Aquaman (Arthur Curry) lives when he is on land.

The second big piece of evidence hinting at Aquaman's involvement was the recent appearance of King Shark in Season 2 of The Flash.

He appeared during the final few seconds of the episode 'The Fury of Firestorm'. Although King Shark is primarily a Superboy villain, he has been a great ally to Aquaman on several occasions, and is regularly associated with any stories set in or near the sea, which often involve Aquaman as well.

My last piece of evidence is the discussion between Jay and Caitlin in 'The Darkness and the Light', where Jay mentions that Atlantis is present on Earth 2. Though a video clip is not available at the moment, Jay mentions that one of his friends is from Atlantis.

Aquaman is the King of Atlantis, and often comes ashore, so it's not surprising that he has befriended another person with superpowers. These three are major clues to Aquaman's appearance, or at least acknowledging his existence in the CWverse. Or, you know, they could just be simple easter eggs for fans.
