Big movie news today people! Star Wars Episode 7, X-Men movie number nine (I'm including 'Deadpool' and the Wolverine spinoffs, even Origins), and Captain America 3 all in one go. Let's dive right in!

Star Wars TV Spot Breakdown

A new TV Spot for 'The Force Awakens' has arrived, as if I'm not excited enough! Every time a new trailer comes out I get goosebumps before I even click the link, and this one does NOT disappoint! Check it out down below, then proceed to see what I noticed.

Okay, first off, WOW! At this point the only way this could suck is if they brought in Jar Jar Binks, and considering when this takes place that's a no. But enough about how awesome this trailer is, let's take a look at the split-second awesomeness that was in there!

The Tie Fighter Escape

We've seen Finn questioning his reason for becoming a stormtrooper in previous trailers and in this one (around the 27 second mark), yet we see something that might connect that scene with what led to him being shot down onto the desert planet below (can't make gifs, so here are the screenshots).

We've seen a familiar Tie Fighter being shot down before, crashing onto a desert planet. Although the people at Disney have been very good at keeping this under wraps, they've revealed some plot details by accident. You might be asking yourself "how?", but as someone who has watched the trailers countless times, I've managed to gather info on how Finn story begins:

Finn doesn't want to be a trooper anymore...

He steals a Tie Fighter and makes an escape...

He's shot down...

And stranded on the planet.

The rest is probably in the trailers somewhere, but I'll leave that up to you as it could be POTENTIAL SPOILERS!

The War on the Forest Planet

Also seen in the spot are Stormtroopers attacking a rebel base, some speculation, and an Easter Egg!

Yep, looks like theres a huge plan being discussed, and on the right is the golden bot himself, C-3PO! Who's that standing next to him?

IT'S A TRAP!
IT'S A TRAP!

It's a little hard to make out, but it seems Admiral Ackbar will make a return to the franchise. Man, Disney is REALLY cranking in the nostalgia here...

And of course we get some action shots of Finn fighting a Trooper whose weapon looks like the ones General Grevious's bodyguards carried in 'Revenge of the Sith'.

Lastly, everybody's favourite space pirate is showing off that he may be old, but not obsolete. (Did I just quote 'Terminator:Genisys'?!)

Alright, next order of business that coincidently, involves 'Star Wars'...

'X-Men:Apocalypse' trailer to premier before 'The Force Awakens'!

I know, weird right? 'Star Wars' belongs to Disney and Fox has always had their hands on 'X-Men', so why this? We may never know how two rivals made it to this type of agreement, but one thing's for sure, I can't wait for this trailer! Fox has also mentioned that a smaller trailer will come out before the full-lengh one hits theatres. Great! Now if only they could show us 'Civil War'...

Possible 'Captain America:Civil War' trailer debuts!

I've talked about this movie many, many times. Every day the first thing I do is check to see if a trailer has been released yet. Now, we have two possible windows that could FINALLY show us those precious two and a half minutes of footage.

1.Before 'Star Wars'

This makes the most logical sense since they both belong to Disney. With this trailer and 'X-Men:Apocalypse', 'The Force Awakens' will probably have the best pre-show trailer line-up of the year! But there is one more option...

2.On 'Agents of SHIELD'

Since this show is a part of the same Cinematic Universe as 'Avengers', 'Guardians of the Galaxy', and so on, it shouldn't be a surprise if this week's episode delivers that long awaited trailer.

That's it for my breakdown! What are your thoughts on the TV Spot? Are you excited for the 'X-Men' preview ? When do you think we'll finally see that awesome 'Civil War' trailer? Comment down below, or send me a tweet at @CanadaComicNerd. Also, if you want to read more, click right here!
