The legendary Super Saiyan. The ultimate goal since 1999. Goku did it, Trunks and Vegeta did it and then pretty much every saiyan and half saiyan following did it as well. I know I myself have tired to master the transformation ever since I was a wee lad. Still trying if you were wondering. But that's aside the point. Now in the many universes and creations across all of literature, movies, video games, etc. there are a lot of characters that are worthy to ascend to something greater. This list is going to look at who has the potential (ridiculous or not) in some way to become the legend that is Super Saiyan

10. The Dude (Big Lebowski)

Overall this list is not supposed to be super serious and to kick things off The Dude is a great choice for a Super Saiyan. This could kind of come across as ridiculous and it kind of is but hey why not? The Dude is easily one of the funniest most laid back characters in history. In the movie "The Big Lebowski" the dude does not do a single thing wrong, he's just looking to do right by everyone else. The man is just looking to get a new rug! He has everything under control, seems to have achieved inner peace and can keep his cool in the most nonsensical situations. Enabling him to find the zen to achieve Super Sayian. Now would The Dude ever need to go Super Saiyan? Probably not, but at that point no one would pee on his rug. And as a bonus he's already got a fantastic head of hair. And there is something so satisfying about imaging a Super Saiyan Dude sipping on White Russians and flying across the L.A. skyline.

9. Huey Freeman (The Boondocks)

A no Brain-er for Super Saiyan candidates. Huey Freeman is a true hero. Between the questioning the morals of the government and big business, fighting Blind swordsmen and his little brother Riley, Huey fights for what he believes in and does it with such passion. A great swordsman himself, able to give even Trunks a run for his money, and also able to craft powerful tools just by finding intrusions on the internet. He fights for those who need it regardless of who it is. A very awesome character to say the least its always a pleasure to hear his words of wisdom and thoughts on the world. Unbelievably wise for his age, adding the skill of achieving Super Saiyan would only be logical. Plus It'd be really cool to see a Super Saiyan with an Afro.

8. Peter Griffin and Ernie the giant chicken (Family Guy)

In Family Guy and I guess TV overall there have been some good crazy feuds, but none greater than the one between Peter Griffin and Ernie. Family Guy has given us some of the best fights with these two characters and its always a joy to see the insanity erupt between these two. Now neither of these two have any characteristics that means they have the ability to become Super Saiyan, peter is just a drunk idiot and Ernie is just a giant chicken. Although thinking back to the lengthy fights between the two, something that can ramp up the intensity ten fold with these fights would be giving each of them a Super Saiyan transformation. They have both shown that they are skilled in the art of hand to hand combat, throw in some spiky golden hair and energy blasts and you would have my interest peaked.

7. Chewbacca (Star Wars)

He is half of one of the greatest duos of all time, Chewbacca. For as long as i can remember, wanting Chewbacca as my best friend and sidekick has been a dream of mine for as long as the dream of being a Super Saiyan. The reasoning behind this really odd I'll be the first to admit it, but a golden Wookie. That's it. A golden wookie. The empire would have stood no chance if Chewbacca could have gone Super Saiyan. Lets just pretend he could shoot mouth blasts. Imagine a golden Chewbacca roaring and shooting a mouth energy wave at storm troopers. And that's all the reason I have for this one...

6. Emmet (Lego Movie)

If being pure of heart was a competition I think that Emmet would easily win. The quirky, fun little construction worker can make it on this list. He may not be the smartest or most creative but he can get the job done. Also I mean, he IS a master builder. He would be a great fit to be the savior of Bricksburg and understands the importance of working together and a good sense of right and wrong. Lord business would not mess with him after that nor would anybody see him as a "normal average guy" or a "blank slate".

5. Furiousa ([Mad Max: Fury Road](tag:41445))

Strong, independent, and super bad ass. Furiousa could become super saiyan, even with no hair to really work with. Maybe the transformation can fix that little detail? I have no idea but moving on. By rebelling and fighting against Immortan Joe, she has showcased that she has what it takes to even make Vegeta look like a pansy. Looking to lead her people into a new, more fair and peaceful time. Her skills seem to lie more in shooting a gun than in hand to hand combat and I'm sure missing an arm doesn't help, but that shouldn't stop her from crushing any post apocalyptic enemies in her way.

4. Ra's Al Ghul (Batman Begins)

This is one of the few people on this list I'm sort of serious about. Ra's Al Ghul. Now overall the focus will be on the Batman Begins imagining of him. Batman's trainer, the leader of the League of Shadows and somebody who should never ever ever mess with. Having the ultimate goal in his mind is to balance the world between crime and justice is insane and him going super saiyan he could do all of that on his own. As very much proven in Batman begins his skills in the arts are very formidable and nothing to sneeze at. He did tell Bruce Wayne "If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal and if they can't stop you, then you become something else entirely. A legend, Mr. Wayne, a legend." maybe for all we know he was referring to the Legendary Super Saiyan itself.

3. Samus Aran (Metroid)

A very Iron Man-esk character but still amazing in her own respect. The Galactic Bounty hunter would very much have good use for the transformation. The super powered exoskeleton is more than enough for her to destroy everyone but in combination with Super Saiyan would be a force to be reckoned with. Forget Kamehamehas and Galick Guns, her cannon arm and diversity in shots and cannons and what not. And Also, shes already got the golden hair.

2.Caesar and Koba (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes)

Two apes. Super Saiyan. Battling it out for the fate of their apes. The Reason they are here because they are half sayians already right? But the thing that really gets them here is that they both somehow mirror Goku and Vegeta. Caesar being more like Goku, wants whats best for his people and to protect them. He's more mild mannered but knows when he needs to get serious. While Koba resembling more Vegeta, more tempered, and very destructive and violent. The whole golden monkeys hashing it out kind of gets me excited. They are both strong and seemingly on equal playing fields making them a great match up/combination for this list.

1. Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop)

A fellow anime character to take #1 on this nonsensical list but with good reason. Spike Spiegel, not like he would need to go Super Saiyan but it couldn't hurt. Space bounty hunter born on mars, for a time a part of a crime syndicate, skilled pilot and a master at the art Jeet Kune Do. His laid back attitude, yet knowing when to get serious and compassion for others driving him makes him a strong character to match up against. When it comes to hand to hand combat he outshines many, having skills that would give Goku a run for his money. The Reason for being number one is because if giving the ability to go Super Saiyan and Goku held to the same, no higher level of super sayian for him, it would be a fight for the ages. Now I will always back up the O.G. Super Saiyan, but Super Saiyan Spike would be really cool to see.
