Suicide Squad is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics antihero team. It's an third installment in the DC Extended Universe. The Suicide Squad trailer leaves us questioning of what exactly what will happen and what the plot is about. Let's see what we see in the trailer.
In The Beginning Of The Trailer
At the beginning of the trailer, we see Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) having a conversation over dinner with the Military Brass. To talk about her plans she has for Suicide Squad. She explains that, she's compile the worse of the worst to use on the missions, if they fail the government can deny any knowledge or connection to. I'm wondering, how further this conversation will go, and it looks like in this scene, there's a lot more to talk about over dinner.
The Film Being An Origin Story For Suicide Squad
It seems we're going to see, a couple of individual origin stories. Starting with Enchantress (Cara Delevinge) as she is shown in a cave, looking normal. In this picture here, she bathes in dirty water and is transforming into Enchantress. And what other individual origin stories are we going to see? But also, Suicide Squad is an origin story itself, yet wait to be seen.
And here we see, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) who's clearly dangerous and locked up in a cage, surrounded by barbed wired fence with several highly armed guards. And Waller's prison includes; Jay Hernandez as Diablo, Will Smith as Deadshot, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc. What more to say about the prison scene? I don't know, it's gonna be interesting.
Members Of Suicide Squad
This is what I'm curious about in this scene, which leads me to my question and that is: what does Amanda Waller talk to Harley Quinn about? I'm pretty it's about her and other prisoners; Diablo, Deadshot and Killer Croc to work together as a team know as Suicide Squad and that they work for Waller as well. But, could it as be that their mission is go take down the Joker? Have no idea, that's something I like to know. Let's wait and see.
This Could Be Arkham Asylum?
Now whether or not that this could be Arkham Asylum, we see Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel (Harley Quinn) with several masked men, who is thrown onto a gurney, by a man who looks like Jim Carrey was rumored to be playing Joker Henchmen, Jonny Frost. I'm not sure, if Jim Carrey is playing the character that throws Dr. Harleen Quinzel on a gurney, but what a surprise that will be. It looks like here, that this might be another origin story about how Dr. Harleen Quinzel becomes Harley Quinn.
First Glimpse Of The Joker
In this quick glimpse, we see the joker (Jared Leto) led by who, might be Jonny Frost, the same man who was earlier seen who thrown Dr. Quinzel onto a gurney. Now, the actor that plays who might be Jonny Frost, doesn't look like Jim Carrey. And it looks like their in some building, a factory. But, what would they be doing there? Where are they going? Have no idea exactly, it could be up to no good.
Harley Quinn's Origin Story
This looks like an origin story on how Dr. Harleen Quinzel became Harley Quinn. It will be an interesting scene too, although yet terrifying as we see in the picture, that the Joker is hovering over Dr. Quinzel who is tied up. Later, we hear the Jokers haunting laugh, as he tells her that he's not going to kill her, but going to hurt her really, really bad. My guess is, Jonny Frost and his team of massed criminals break into Arkham to free Joker, and he decides to torture Dr. Quinzel before he leaves, turning her into Harley Quinn. Which makes sense. Later he decides to break into a factory, to get something. And Suicide Squad are going to hunt him down.
Now, at first when I saw the picture of Jared Leto as the Joker, with his hands on his head, and looks like he's screaming. My first thought was: "Whoa! What is this?" and I wasn't sure if was a digital drawn picture, or someone cosplyaing as the Joker. Until later, I realized that an actor will be portraying as the Joker in Suicide Squad. Then, when I saw the trailer I started to think: "Okay, this looks like a good movie." and when it came to the end of the trailer and heard the Joker's laugh, I immediately felt scared. As soon he said those lines, he had me convinced that he's going to be craziest and scariest Joker to appear on the big screen. Suicide Squad will be released in theaters on August 5, 2016.
