Back to the Future is getting a surge of attention now that the highly-anticipated date of Marty's trip to the future has passed, and many are asking - where are the beloved actors now? Well, wonder no more! Read on to see what the McFlys and their friends are up to these days.

Michael J. Fox - Marty McFly

With a few smaller roles under his belt, Michael has guest starred on several shows, most notably Phineas and Ferb and The Good Wife. His battle with Parkinson's disease has inspired many, and he's even set up the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research to try and find a cure. His most recent role was in the movie A.R.C.H.I.E. as the voice of the title character. The movie is currently in post production.

Christopher Lloyd - Emmett "Doc" Brown

The beloved doctor has done many different projects since he invented the time machine, including A Million Ways to Die in the West, where he reprised his role as Doc Brown, much to the delight of BTTF fans everywhere. His most recent work is in I Am Not A Serial Killer, which is currently in post production and set to be released in 2016.

Lea Thompson - Lorraine Bates McFly

Lea is currently best known for her role as Kathryn Kennish on the hit series Switched At Birth, which is currently in its fourth season. Lea is also filming - and directing - The Year of Spectacular Men, set to be released in 2016 along with her other movie, The Stars Are Already Dead.

Crispin Glover - George McFly

Crispin Glover has had a steady stream of smaller roles over the years, even providing the voice of the Knave of Hearts in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. His newest project is The Brits Are Coming, a comedy about a gambler-turned-jewel-thief on the run from British mobsters, set to be released in 2016.

Thomas F. Wilson - Biff Tannen

Tom Wilson hasn't done many big roles since portraying the hated Biff Tannen, but he has done some animated stuff, including taking on the role of Finn from 2013's Epic. His most recent role is Banana in the series Pig Goat Banana Cricket. Tom is a successful comedian and even wrote a song about the questions he gets asked about making BTTF. Check it out below:

Claudia Wells - Jennifer Parker

Claudia took a brief hiatus from acting in 1986 due to her mother's cancer diagnosis, but made a comeback in 2008 in Still Waters Burn. She also played Captain Savage in 2014's Starship: Rising and even had a guest role on The Mentalist. She has two new movies due to be released in 2016 - Breakin' Evolution and My Cousin's Ghetto Wedding.

James Tolkan - Mr. Strickland

James not only played Marty's no-nonsense principal, he also had a role in Top Gun as Stinger. He also guest starred on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and The Wonder Years. His most recent role was in Bone Tomahawk, which stars Patrick Wilson and Kurt Russell.

It's incredible to see what actors from one of my favorite trilogies are up to! I can't wait to see what they do next!
