(Warning - the following may contain mild SPOILERS for upcoming Netflix series' Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. As Taylor Swift might remind Daredevil: "Don't say your advanced senses didn't say they didn't say they didn't warn ya...")
Now, with Jessica Jones mere days away from arriving on Netflix (set your binge-watching alarms for Friday, gang), it's not too surprising that our collective anticipation levels are growing alarmingly high. After all, a new Marvel TV show is about to hit our screens, and that's about as exciting as things get (short of a new movie).
With exactly what role Daredevil and (the about to be introduced) Luke Cage will play in the series still a little fuzzy, however, much of that anticipation is being channeled into speculation about cameos, plot arcs and, of course, the future of Marvel and Netflix's collaborative universe. And then this happened:
The 'Daredevil' Twitter Account Just Posted a Very Specific Teaser
Yup. That's right.
According to Daredevil's own twitter account, it seems that Luke Cage's bar...
...is set to take over from Josie's in some key capacity...
...and that, it seems, likely means one of (or, perhaps, a combination of) three things:
1. Luke Cage Is Coming to 'Daredevil' Season 2
Possibly the most obvious outcome, it certainly seems possible that the above teaser is suggesting a key (if small) role for Cage in the upcoming second season of Daredevil. Which would make sense, seeing as the heroes are eventually set to team up in The Defenders anyhow. A super-powered bar-tending shoulder to lean on for Matt, Karen and Foggy, perhaps?
2. Daredevil Is Coming to 'Luke Cage'
After all, it's entirely possible that the above teaser is just that – a tease – and that Daredevil's involvement with Luke's will in fact come in the currently filming Luke Cage. Which, of course, doesn't actually conflict with the alternative options, which is nice.
The final possibility, then?
3. Daredevil Is Coming to 'Jessica Jones'
Or, at least, the chances of us seeing a certain legal team show up for a drink at some point seem to have gone up a notch or two...
The big question now, then (other than how the heck we're going to be able to wait patiently till Friday)?
What do you reckon?
