Tommy Oliver is a Power Ranger veteran and considered a legend among the Ranger community. He is often considered to be the greatest Power Ranger of all time, having been part of four Power Ranger teams over the years. Originally used for evil purposes by Rita Repulsa, Tommy quickly turned good and helped the Rangers in defeating the forces of darkness. In doing so, not only did Tommy prove himself to be a worthy ally, but he became exactly the kind of leader the Rangers needed and was therefore promoted, taking command from the original leader, Jason. Tommy has gone through a number of power variations through the years. Originally the first Green Ranger of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Those powers ran dry and he became the White Ranger and the White Ninja Ranger of the same team, Zeo Ranger V Red of the Zeo Rangers, and the first Red Turbo Ranger of the Turbo Rangers.

Possible Plot for the sequel to Saban's Power Rangers: Green with Evil as a movie based on Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It is a prqeul story explaining the origin of the green power coin and candle into the Power Rangers franchise; The feature film is to introduced the character Tommy Oliver, who was the Green Power Ranger.

Green with Evil is a five part mini-series in season 1 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It is the first and so far only five part episode in the Power Rangers franchise. The mini-series introduced the character Tommy Oliver, who was the Green Power Ranger.

Pslam 37:35 I have seen a wicked, ruthless man, spreading himself like a green laurel tree.

Now here are 3 actor I think can portray Tommy Oliver in a MMPR movie.

1.) Taylor Lautner

Taylor Lautner (Actor, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011))
Taylor Lautner (Actor, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011))

Taylor Daniel Lautner (/ˈlaʊtnər/; born February 11, 1992)[1] is an American actor, model and martial artist. Lautner is best known for playing Jacob Black in The Twilight Saga film series based on the novels of the same name by Stephenie Meyer.

As a child, Lautner took up martial arts in Holland, Michigan and was ranked number one in his category by the American Sports Karate Association. Lautner later began his acting career, appearing in bit roles in comedy series such as The Bernie Mac Show (2003) and My Wife and Kids (2004), before having voice roles in television series like What's New, Scooby-Doo? (2005) and Danny Phantom (2005). In 2005, he appeared in the film Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and starred in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D. He also starred in the 2011 action film Abduction. Taylor Lautner has more experience in Martial Arts than acting; to me that makes him an ideal choice to play a power ranger.

2.) Zac Efron

Zachary David Alexander "Zac" Efron (born October 18, 1987) is an American actor and singer. He began acting professionally in the early 2000s, and became known as a teen idol after his lead roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, the WB series Summerland, and the 2007 film version of the Broadway musical Hairspray. Efron has since starred in the films 17 Again, Me and Orson Welles, Charlie St. Cloud, New Year's Eve, The Lucky One, That Awkward Moment, Neighbors, and The Lorax.

3.)Sam Claflin

In 2010, Clafin made his debut screen performances in two award-winning series, The Pillars of the Earth (2010) and Any Human Heart (2010). His film debut came playing footballer Duncan Edwards, one of the 'Busby Babes', in United (2011). Clafin then came to the attention of cinemagoers across the world when he was cast as Philip in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011). Various roles followed, including Jack in White Heat (2012) and Prince William in Snow White and the Huntsman (2012). He has been cast as Finnick Odair in the sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013).

in conclusion I suppose we'll see what happens when Power Rangers finally hits the big screens and the television show can go back to focusing on their own stories!
