Greetings NFL fans! Who here back after a 2 week hiatus. Sorry but life, work, art, love and loss to the Patriots followed by a loss to freaking Rex Ryan and the Bills kinda sucked the life out of me.

But a true gambling man throws caution to the wind and says to hell with the savings fund we gotta get back on top!!

After Week 9 gave us a disastrous 3 wins and we followed that with another bomb in Week 10 with a meager 5 wins. We were left dismayed and defeated and reaching for the towel. But a good dog never goes out without a fight and with my cutman Ted backing me up we are gonna give it another go.

Colts (4-5) at Atlanta Falcons (6-3) -6.5

Andrew Luck is out with a lacerated kidney. It evokes the a vision of football player with shanks stabbing each other in the pile. The serious injury put a halt to any celebration that came after a win that knocked Denver off of the ranks of the unbeaten. Matt Hasselback will now have another crack and whipping the young whipper snappers and showing them a thing or two.

On the other side the Falcons are trying to desperately right the ship after losing two straight to the bottom feeders of the league. A plethora of injuries on defense might open the door for the Colts.

Oddshark has two big glaring giganto facts: Colts are a solid ATS bet going 4-1 and the Falcons are not as they are 0-5 ATS in the last five games. Falcons may be due for a blowout so this one is a risk but I'm gonna stick to the data.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) at Philadelphia Eagles (4-5) -5.5

Jamies Winston gave a passionate speech after the win against the Cowboys and it might be the push they need to go on a nice run. Lots of rival betters might tell you to go with the Eagles with an experienced Mark Sanchez taking the helm after Sam Bradford's injury (SHOCKER) but with the #7 Defense in the league the Bucs will keep it closer than you think.

New York Jets (5-4) at Houston Texans (4-5) +2.5

After bouncing back from a 2 game losing streak the jets toughed out a win against the Jaguars but lost to Buffalo crowing Rex Ryan king of New York yet again. The Jets are beat up make no mistake. Ivory doesn't seem fully healed, the running gag in injured quarterback has also affected both the Jets and the Texans.

By mid day Thursday this game still didn't a line and that worried me as a Jets fan. You want to hope Vegas would have confidence in the Jets that they can bounce back but I don't blame the bookies for not trusting them. Ive been a fan for 30+ years and I still don't trust them.

Jets should win this but they've been terrible in November on the road going 0-5 SU and ATS and being the favored team does not bod well in this match up with the favored being 0-3. The numbers point to Houston at home but I'm sticking with my Jets till the end. The defense has been slacking as of late and I expect a bounce back game from them. As long as Fitzpatrick is starting and able to throw the Jets have more talent on offense. Watt will be disruptive but not enough to keep Marshall and Decker from making a big play. Crash and burn baby!
