In 2011, the Harry Potter film series came to an end with the final installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. We all know who the star of the films is (Daniel Radcliffe). Radcliffe played the titular character in the films and he grew up portraying the role of Harry Potter. From the age of eleven to the age of twenty, he played that role so reasonably, it was a sad moment.

And we know he has moved on from the films and is going to play characters in future films, such as Victor Frankenstein and Now You See Me 2: The Second Act. And he's opened up about how after they ended, he started to drink.

As in, alcohol.

Here is what Radcliffe had to say on the topic:

There was definitely a time when I was coming out of 'Potter' and I was into the real world, suddenly I was in a world where I'm not going to have that consistency anymore. I'm not going to see all those people every year. I'm not going to have my friends around me all the time. I was pretty inconsolable on the last day of 'Potter' ... I was worried. I was living alone, and I think I was really freaked out. I drank a lot, as has been recorded.

Radcliffe has not drunk since 2013, as he found himself being too reliant on it.

He also says:

I went into work still drunk, but I never drank at work. I can point to many scenes where Iā€™m just gone. Dead behind the eyes.

I hope I haven't ruined your life too much yet.
