This December marks the 18-year anniversary of Titanic, the movie that started our obsessive lusting over Leo and perpetual envy of Kate Winslet's perfection.
Apart from making me feel ancient, this nostalgic masterpiece brought back memories of wishing Jack would draw me like one of his French girls and Celine Dion's Titanic song cascading from every karaoke bar from here to Timbuktu.
As much as we all love to imagine an alternate ending where Rose moves the hell over to make room for Jack on the floating door at the end, alas, that was not to be.
We can however pull some sentimental and comedic value from the alternate ending that they did make. Check it out!
It all starts on board the vessel Keldysh where Brock Lovett (Bill Paxton) and Lizzy Calvert (Lizzy Amis) are reflecting on never finding the Heart of The Ocean.
Then, they spot ol' grandma Rose hoisting herself on the side of the boat and freak out.
Cue a tense showdown between an octogenarian and a group of scientists desperate to get the diamond off her.
But then she does what she wants anyway because she survived the goddamn Titanic!
And then Bill Paxton laughs into the night sky as he realizes the true value of life.
Watch the whole thing and marvel at what could have been below:
