Set the world on fire! With just one month to go before release, Avalanche have teamed up with special effect superstars Visual Works, to ramp up the heat ahead of Just Cause 3's launch day.

Let's face it, the Just Cause series is famous for being a little over-the-top but to have it any other way would be a crime of the highest order. This latest trailer aptly named Fire, embodies everything we know and love about Just Cause.

It features fast cars, big explosions and utterly ludicrous stunts that even Batman would struggle to pull off. It is a heart pounding, nuclear bomb of a game that will have you screaming with pyrotechnic delight!

It would seem that your imagination will be the only limitation to destruction in Just Cause 3. Pushing up the tempo still further, playing in the background is NME’s Band of the Year 2015, Kasabian.

Visual Works are responsible for many of the incredibly detailed videos seen in the Final Fantasy games as well as Rise of the Tomb Raider. They are a Japanese CGI studio that develops CGI animations for games and movies produced by Square Enix.

The third installment to the series follows the same Rico Rodriguez from Just Cause 2. Rico has finally decided to pack it all in and go home, only to discover his home island is controlled by an evil dictator called General Di Ravello. In Just Cause 3, the General is hell bent on world domination and will stop at nothing to achieve it.

Enter (stage left) Rico Rodriguez. It is our job to stop him before it’s too late. Just Cause 3 is set for release December 1 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
