I've been obsessed with the world of Panem since the first movie came out, I read all the books in four days and was just in love, with that being said, this movie completely blew everything out of the water. Most people don't agree with these movies being split up into two parts, but if they weren't you'd complain about it being too long. I'm very much a lover of action films so this movie made me very happy, it was very true to the book and I was very pleased. I do however have a couple of issues with it. Gale did not receive the send off he so deserved, Liam Hemsworth is Gale Hawthorne, nobody else could have played him as well as Liam, but I was angry because in this movie he just looks like a cold-blooded killer, which is in fact the opposite of who Gale is. And his final scene broke my heart, he didn't deserve that at all. The other thing is The Nut scene is not what I was expecting, that scene in the book is so important. Extremely important. The scene where Katniss and Gale kiss was so underdone, in the book, they full on makeout and then have a conversation that is crucial to their relationship and her relationship with Peeta. Although, I will say I've always admired the Peeta/Gale scenes, adorable. Donald Sutherland also pulled an amazing performance that you will not soon forget... The final 5 or so scenes with Peeta and Katniss and Haymitch made me realize why it is I love this story so much, it's that even after all that they've been through, they still go on to have that normal, domestic life that they deserve. There is so much more that I could say, but I will leave it at that for you to explore this amazing finale to the most amazing dystopian YA franchise... We Remain,
