This article is very similar to the last article I wrote: (Guess Who's Coming Back to Arrow Season 4?). You should definitely read the article because it's a good one. If you did, you know that Roy will be returning in Episode 12 of Arrow. If you think that was good news, just wait until you read this!
The upcoming "Flarrow" crossover is coming out next week and we are set to see 9 superheroes! This episode will have everyone we have met from Arrow and The Flash and even Vandal Savage himself. The crossover episodes will be setting up the upcoming spin-off show Legends of Tomorrow which features heroes and villains such as the A.TO.M., White Canary, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Firestorm, Captain Cold, Heatwave, and Rip Hunter. Will all these characters show up in the crossover? With the exception of Rip Hunter which is unsure, definitely.
It is safe to say that these two episodes are going to be jammed pack! There is going to be so much content, action, and characters in this crossover that it will go down as some of the best episodes of the show! This weekend at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in San Jose (I'll be at the New York one in January), David Ramsey slipped some information out to the fans. Here's what he said:
"Because we are going to be tracking down a particular member of the Suicide Squad that so happens to be a 14-foot shark,"
King Shark is Going to Appear in the Crossover!
King Shark made his unexpected debut during the last couple minutes of the "Fury of Firestorm" episode of The Flash this season. He was another Earth-2 rouge sent through the breach to kill The Flash by Zoom. He had The Flash in his clutches, but he was shot by Harrison Wells. We all expected King Shark to return eventually this season on The Flash but not in the crossover! David Ramsey also leaked the fact that he is a part of the Suicide Squad! The one sentence Ramsey said gave us so much information.
What Does this Mean?
First off, we were told that the Suicide Squad wasn't appearing on Arrow anymore because of the Suicide Squad film hitting theaters next summer. I am very happy that they are bringing it back. The whole point of DC separating their TV universe from the movies is to give both universes more freedom and TV some liberties. Therefore, Warner Brothers is still limiting the TV universe by not letting anything on the shows to appear in the movies in order to avoid confusion. I don't get how people could get confused, I really don't; but now that we know that the Suicide Squad is back, King Shark being on it is going to be awesome!
What I think the most likely scenario is going to be is that when King Shark was shot, he was picked up by Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad. They asked him questions and the Suicide Squad gained a lot of answers about Earth 2. Waller strikes a deal with King Shark and that is she and the Suicide Squad will protect him from Zoom if he joins the Suicide Squad. This would have happened between the last few episodes.
Cut to the second half of the crossover and Team Green Arrow and Flash are having a hard time trying to defeat Vandal Savage. Diggle talks to Amanda Waller and he tries to track down King Shark as he could help them defeat Vandal Savage and provide information.
