I'm going to let my inside fan boy come out for a moment...

Alright, now that I've gotten that out of the way, let's talk about the trailer itself. If you haven't seen it, click here and come back once the trailer's over.

First off, we see the scene that took place at the end of 'Ant-Man' with different lines and cutaways to a building being blown up (so what else is new?) and a SWAT team infiltrating the building where Bucky is supposedly hiding. Bucky explains that he wasn't the one who did it. Which begs the question, who did?!?! (dun, dun, duuuuuh) I know HYDRA has been causing some sh*t for the Avengers, so I'd say this has Baron Zemo's name written all over it.

"Yep. Totally me!" *sips wine*
"Yep. Totally me!" *sips wine*

Then we see General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, talk to Steve, Sam Wilson, and Natasha Romanoff about how Cap can't just run off on his own without supervision from others. It's just not how today's world works.

Nat, being the good friend she is, tells Steve to stay off Bucky's tail for now, he'll only dig himself into a deeper hole. And judging by the screenshot below, he got himself in some DEEP trouble.

And of course, the Cap and Iron Man have their square-off of words as we see Ant-Man's suit get taken away.

Probably just needs to be dry-cleaned...
Probably just needs to be dry-cleaned...

Tony: If we can't accept limitations, we're no better than the bad guys.

Steve: That's not the way I see it.

Then comes this line that's destined to become a classic (or a meme).

We see a couple scenes of Cap and Flacon getting shot at and taking down some (supposedly) bad guys. Black Widow then says "you know it's about to happen." Bucky gets chased by Iron Man and War Machine and get a glimpse at - drumroll please - Black Panther!

That suit is A-grade badass.
That suit is A-grade badass.

With heroes on either side at an airport things are getting tense.

Falcon: What do we do?

Captain America: We fight.

Me: Seems legit.

#TeamCaptainAmerica!#TeamCaptainAmerica!" title="!">

Buuuut, looks like the Winter Soldier ended up get the boot from Black Panther. Confirming my earlier report on whose side he's on.

Black Panther: "#TeamIronMan, biatch!"#TeamIronMan, biatch!"" title="Black Panther: ", biatch!"">
Black Panther: ", biatch!"

And judging by what's going on here, I'd say the Super Soldier and the Prince of Wakanda are gonna butt heads more than once.

Let's also say that Tony and Bucky aren't going to be the best of bros either...

Punched in the heart, and you're to blame

Steve is MY BFF!
Steve is MY BFF!

Iron Man is looking seriously pissed after what they did to Rhodes.

Then, in that moment of silence before the epic music kicks in, we hear Steve and Tony give their final lines for the trailer.

Captain America: Sorry Tony. You knew I wouldn't do this if I had any other choice. But he's my friend.

Iron Man: So was I.

I can't say how awesome this looks. Obviously it's not as big as the comic book story but I can see what will make it work. Surprisingly, there's no Spider-Man or Ant-Man cameo unless you count the aforementioned suit, but something tells me the Russo brothers are going to keep the movies's secrets locked down tight until it comes out next May.

And not to beat a dead horse or state the obvious here but there was also no freaking Fantastic Four!

2) The Red Hulk

Moving on, it doesn't feel too much like an Avengers 2.5 which is good thing because they are a lot of additional characters in this one. One that stood out to me was Thaddeus Ross, a character we haven't seen since 2008's 'The Incredible Hulk' (Tony Stark did make an appearance in its' post-credits scene so the movie's still canon I guess). In the comics and the movie, Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross was in charge of capturing the Hulk and trying to bring it under control for military purposes. He eventually went under the program that made Bruce Banner the Hulk (it was suppose to be an attempt of making another super soldier) and became the Red Hulk. Does this mean we'll see a a red angry giant onscreen? Only time will tell, and there is a lot of time left.

3) Crossbones

So you remember that guy who Sam Wilson fought near the end of 'Winter Soldier' and got burned alive? Well, he's alive and is the pissed off baddie pictured above beside his comic book counter part. Now fans all over the internet have been going back and forth as to whether or not Steve Rogers will be assassinated, after all Crossbones was the one to put the bullet through his chest after the events of the Civil War graphic novel.

As far as contracts with actors' goes, Chris Evans' ends at 'Avengers 3' but that could just be a glorified cameo or flashback sequence. Now that I think about it, Marvel and the Russo brother are being hush-hush about Steve Rogers' role in their 'Infinity War' story. And quite honestly, the lack of a cameo of any shape or form by this bad guy is really building up the suspension and making me more excited for the movie than I already am.

So that's it. The first 'Captain America Civil War' trailer. Although it was rumoured to appear before 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', I guess the only superhero movie that needs a trailer now is 'X-Men: Apocalypse'. But, we'll still have that in December.

Oh, and here are some cool posters to check out.
