Ever since it was confirmed that Spider-Man was going to be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that he would have a fairly important role in Captain America: Civil War, the Internet has been eager to see just what that entails.
Unfortunately, even with the release of the first official trailer, news of Tom Holland's character is still being kept tightly under wraps for the time being.
Although we haven't seen any official footage of Holland in action, his social media presence already has us convinced that he'll make a great Peter Parker and an even better Spider-Man.
As certain as we feel about the casting, the 19-year-old is expressed some nerves about joining such a powerful cast and following in the footsteps of such a great superhero legacy in a interview with IGN.
It's very daunting, because obviously the first two guys were so great and they did such fantastic performances, so I've got quite a lot to follow.
The idea of playing Spider-Man may be daunting, but the young actor is certain that working alongside other superheroes that he'll get to team up with over the course of Civil War and his untitled Spider-Man movie.
I think I'll have the help from the rest of the Marvel Universe and what's quite exciting is when you read these comics that he's in, he interacts with a lot of other superheroes. So I don't know if they will -- they might do -- but I love the idea of teaming up with other people and getting to work with some of the cast that are in this universe.
