Get your vocal chords and dancing shoes ready, people, because we're gearing up to sing along and hand jive to Grease: Live this January. We might be used to seeing John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John in the iconic roles of Danny and Sandy, but the live Fox production has some big names to fill in.

Grease: Live will bring to life the magic of the '50s, captured in the 1971 play and 1978 movie, straight to your television screen for a one-night only event. Check out the first official teaser trailer for the special below:

Let's discuss the star power that this special is supplying, because it's electrifying! In case you're wondering which of these stars will be playing each character, let's break down the trailer a bit.

Julianne Hough as Sandy

I think we all know Julianne Hough for her dance moves as a Dancing With the Stars champion, so it'll be interesting to see her singing as Sandy.

Aaron Tveit as Danny Zuko

Okay, Aaron Tveit might look more like Kenickie than Danny, but that man's voice works wonders on my soul so I'm willing to let it slide.

Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchy

Carly Rae Jepsen might not be a beauty school dropout, but given her sweet voice and teen vibes, she'll make a great Pink Lady and perfect friend for Sandy.

Keke Palmer as Marty

Marty was always the sassy seductress of the Pink Ladies, so I'm excited to see what Scream Queens' Keke Palmer will be able to bring to the character.

And Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo

Vanessa Hudgens is no stranger to televised musical events. Plus we all secretly still know the words to all of the High School Musical songs.

The teaser is not much to go on at the moment. But from what we can tell, this group has certainly got the moves of Grease down, but we'll have to wait to see if they can nail the iconic teen ballads like "Sandy" and "Beauty School Dropout."

'Grease: Live' will air on Fox on January 21, 2016.
