America's former sweetheart and her successor have finally collided on the set of Passengers and, perhaps predictably, the crowd-pleasing, down-to-earth pair seem to have totally hit it off.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jennifer Lawrence compared Chris Pratt's gung-ho personality to sugary confectionary in one of the sweetest descriptions of the star so far, she explained that:

"Pratt is a bag of gummy bears. He is cotton candy in human form. He’s always in a good mood! He always has energy."

Although she is well known for her fun-loving and glass-half-full personality, Lawrence admitted that Pratt's permanent good mood can be a bit jarring, especially after a 4 a.m. start, she said:

"The other day I got mad at him because he’s only positive. It was 4 a.m. and we had been working for 15 hours straight. I walk into the studio and Pratt has his phone in the air and is playing music and dancing around. He’s so fucking funny and nice."

But before tabloid tongues get a wagging about the nature of Pratt and Lawrence's relationship, the 25-year-old actor said that she found performing sex scenes with Pratt a real trial and had to "get really, really drunk" before slipping between the sheets with Pratt. Alas, this strategy wasn't too effective, she went on to say:

"But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, 'What have I done? I don't know.' And he was married. And it was going to be my first time kissing a married man, and guilt is the worst feeling in your stomach. And I knew it was my job, but I couldn't tell my stomach that."
