We have a lot to thank Craig and Leonie Hemsworth for. Not only have they produced offspring who've blessed the world with their swoon-worthy looks and awesome acting talent, but they've raised children who've grown to be solid role models for this generation.
In a conversation with The Independent, star of The Hunger Games Liam Hemsworth talked all things showbiz, but the most adorable revelation to come out of the interview was the pride he felt for his brother Chris Hemsworth, a.k.a. Thor, who gave back to his parents in the best way ever; he cleared their lifelong debt:
"[My father] called my brother Chris back and said, 'I don't know how to feel. Since I left home, I have had debts and I thought I'd be paying them off until I died and have this weight hanging over me, and now to have them completely cleared."
"They are so happy now and able to spend more time with us. I would love to be able to do something for my parents like that."
Although Liam would have loved to do the same thing for his parents, there's little doubt that he too puts the time in when it comes to paying dues. This brother is an ambassador of the Australian Childhood Foundation.
"If you want to be a good person who adds to society, you have responsibility. That is something I take very seriously."
What an awesome attitude! And, what an awesome family. We didn't think we could have any more feels for this bunch after they hit the red carpet of Liam's latest movie The Dressmaker earlier this year, looking happy, tight and suave as hell, but they proved us wrong.
Good job guys!
