The trailer for[Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409)recently dropped, and chances are you have seen it at least twice by now. Maybe you just watched it for the tenth time before reading this, who knows. The Internet is going nuts over it, hardcore fans are doing frame-by-frame analyses for every easter egg they can find, and and are trending on Twitter. OK, they aren't yet, but when they do, you'll know who started them.

But one thing a lot of people are missing is how the movie will affect the MCU's sole non-Netflix TV series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Battle lines are already being drawn between the group over a single issue; how Inhumans are being treated.

When it comes down to the season finale, I imagine that Coulsen and Daisy are going to be arguing about this registration act, and the other agents are going to react to this in various ways. Then you have to ask how the ATCU are going to respond considering S.H.I.E.L.D. is still technically an underground organization, while the former works for the government.

As the movie comes around, tensions are going to be at an all-time high and everybody's going to have to make a decision on whether or not they support what this new law. So, I'm going to go all out here and try to guess who's going to be on which side in 6 months time.

Team Captain America

Daisy Johnson/Quake

It's an obvious choice that she'll be on the side of freedom, after all, she was a hacker who exploited whatever the government was covering up. Before she joined S.H.I.E.L.D., and the mist changed her and so on (she's really been through a lot, hasn't she?).

What will probably happen is that Coulson will announce to everybody about the event that was supposedly caused by Bucky and why it's important that S.H.I.E.L.D. supports this bill, Daisy will get her say in it, she and Coulson will go back and forth until she storms out and decides to strike out on her own as an act of defiance.

He and Daisy have been fantastic partners since she returned to S.H.I.E.L.D. with her powers. From episode 1 of this season I thought of them not only as best friends, but as two agents who could trust one another to watch each other's back.

When Daisy makes her getaway, I have no doubt that Mack will clear a path for her and follow right behind. Sure he might be a reliable, trustworthy agent, but his character is telling me that his loyalty to friends is greater than his loyalty to duty.

Lance Hunter

Hunter has been an on-again, off-again agent and likes to play by his own rules, so if an act were to pass that would allow more government control, he'd say bullocks to that (he'll probably literally say it), and leave S.H.I.E.L.D. to fight for a future with more freedom.

So needless to say, he'll be joining up with Daisy and Mack when the time comes. Hopefully his ex-wife doesn't stop him along the way...

Lincoln Campbell/Sparkplug

A fellow Inhuman who has yet to fully trust S.H.I.E.L.D., Lincoln has ben hiding his powers for a long time and the last thing he needs is to be forced to reveal them to the world.

I don't whether or not Andrew Garner/Lash will still be under HYDRA's control - or even alive - near the end of the season, but regardless, Lincoln is not going to let every bad guy out there know that he's a potential target.

Team Iron Man

Phil Coulson

A little surprising considering it was revealed in Avengers that he's a huge Captain America fan, but I guess it's a question of what ideology you believe in when it really comes down to it. Coulson will realize that a few of his agents have left and gone underground, and will be pressured by other agents (most likely May and Bobbi) to make an executive decision regarding the so-called "traitors".

This won't be easy for him, he'll know in his mind that it's best for everyone, but his heart will tell him that he should let them be.

Melinda May

Coulson's right hand woman is definitely going to stand by his side during this whole event, she'll probably end up having to fight Daisy on a couple of occasions.

In all honestly though, we know who'll win.

May has always been a believer in control and monitoring so a law that applies this to superheroes is something she'll stand by. The last thing she wants is for more people she cares about to get hurt, and the possibility of her ex-husband being used as a weapon for HYDRA is not helping.

Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird

Bob is probably one of the most loyal agents I have seen on the show this far, she obeys orders to the very letter, hardly questions decisions made by her superiors, and is pretty keen on taking down bad guys with her kick-ass batons.

I'm not trying to go too far in my predictions, but I think May and the Mockingbird are going to be teaming up as part of a duo to take down the anti-registration movement.

Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons

These two have been so invested in their attempts to reopen the portal that they haven't really had a say on what they think of the Inhumans scenario. They're like Spider-Man and Black Panther, neutral but could go either way depending on the situation.

I will say this about them kissing in that one episode: about damn time!

We still have plenty of time left before the movie hits and the season ends, so this is all just speculation at this point. Whatever happens next, it'll be fun to see who ends up on which side, and we might get some surprises along the way.
