Over the last couple of years, Marvel has introduced us to some of its best characters to ever be put on screen. But what makes them all so much fun to watch is the part on the casting of some of today's best actors and actresses out there.

From Iron Man up to Ant-Man, Marvel gave us a whole slew of heroes and villains who all fit with the personalities of the actors who portray them. From heroes like Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) to Thor (Chris Hemsworth) to Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), I think that Marvel has made the right choice to pick a specific actor to fit into the personality of his/her character. Even all the villains have had a lot of greatness such as Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Thanos (Josh Brolin), who have had the most recognition.

Next up on the Marvel movie timeline is the beginning of Phase 3 with Captain America: Civil War. The majority of the cast from Avengers: Age of Ultron are returning along with one William Hurt, who we haven't seen since The Incredible Hulk as Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross. Other new cast members include Daniel Bruhl as villain Baron Helmut Zemo, Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther and Martin Freeman as a currently unknown character.

After Civil War, Marvel prepares to bring in another big name: Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange in the 2016 film Doctor Strange alongside Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo and Rachel McAdams as an unknown character.

One may ask 'Will these newcomers fit in with the MCU that we know and love today?' Well, one can never be sure with what Marvel has up its sleeve with their next big movies.

Captain America: Civil War opens on May 6th 2016.

Doctor Strange opens on November 4th 2016.
