In the past decade we've gotten films that were hyped up but for some reason nobody saw them or people did see them but they were forgotten in the next couple of years. Here's eight forgotten films that I remember and I'll let you know if I think they deserved to be forgotten or not.

8. 9 (2009)

9 is probably one of the strangest films released in the past decade. It's about living puppets that must fight off giant robots in a post apocalyptic world after humans have been wiped out. While the idea for the film is weird, that doesn't hurt the film at all, in fact it kinda helps the film. The designs of the robots and the gassed ruins of urban areas are amazing and some of the characters are actually pretty good. Keyword is some. That's the biggest problem with the film, most of the characters are just bland and the voice acting is decent. Overall though I'd say give 9 a watch and it defiantly shouldn't have been forgotten.\

7. Real Steel (2011)

Robot Rocky...sorry I mean Real Steel was well, like I stated before, basically just a remake of Rocky but with a robot. The film is decent and the only really good thing in the movie is the robot designs. The child actor and most of the other actors aren't the best but Hugh Jackman is pretty damn good in it. Real Steel is a film that really doesn't deserve to be forgotten, now Real Steel might be getting a sequel so hopefully when the sequel is released this movie will become more wildly known.

6. G.I.Joe: Rise of Cobra (2009) & G.I.Joe: Retaliation (2013)

The G.I.Joe film series isn't as forgotten as some of the other films on this list but most people usually forget these films exist, hell I did as well until I heard rumors of a Transformers/G.I.Joe crossover film (please don't do that...please don't). The G.I.Joe films are just really bad films. Badly acted, badly written, and badly made. Now with a third G.I.Joe film on the way I can only hope that these films will go back into obscurity.

5. Men in Black 3 (2012)

The Men in Black franchise to me is just "Meh". The first film is good but the second film and the animated series are crap. This third film is just...the very definition of mediocre. Men in Black 3 decides to be a time travel movie and is further proof that Will Smith's kids have sucked the life outta him as he's awful in this movie. Overall I'd say skip this film and just watch the original, Men in Black 3, in my opinion, should stay forgotten. Oh and speaking of films released in 2012.

4. 2012 (2009)

"Oh no! 2012 is the end of the world! The Mayans were right!" Said no one because the Mayans were wrong and we're still here. Of course though we needed a disaster movie with the plot of "What if the Mayans were right?". 2012 was a monster hit but behind some really awesome effects lies a crappy plot, dull characters and wooden acting. It's no wonder the film's TV series sequel titled "2013" was canceled. This film, along with the Mayan end of the world theory, should stay forgotten.

3. 10,000 BC (2008)

"Far Cry: Primal" The movie! released 8 years before the game came out. 10,000 BC is a really weird film and unlike 9, this hurts the film...a lot. The movie is about a caveman or I think it's a caveman and his journey to rescue his love interest and along the way tames a saber toothed cat and kills Woolly Mammoths. This film is so badly acted that I'd honestly consider this in a top ten worst performances in the last decade. The only good thing in this movie is the CGI and then it's not amazing. Overall this film should be forgotten and hopefully nobody will ever stumble upon this movie.

2. Land of the Lost (2009)

Ugh. Land of the Lost is a really...really bad film. Honestly I'd say the worst Will Ferrell film yet. This film is based off the 1970s show of the same name and while I've never seen the show I can only presume this is a complete butcher of its source material. Land of the Lost is so unfunny that it actually kinda hurts to watch. Don't see this movie, ever, no seriously don't. This film well deserves to be forgotten.

1. Speed Racer (2008)

It's awful. It's just so awful. Terrible acting, terrible effects, terrible lines, and worst of all the ape in the film, behind the scenes was beaten because it bit an actor. This film is garbage and shouldn't be watched by anyone.

Thanks for reading you guys and next time I'll be reviewing the film "The Good Dinosaur", after that I'll be doing a blog about the worst Christmas movies ever and finally a review of "Krampus". See you then.
