Recently, at the TCA press tour panel, David Nevins mentioned that there is a possibility that Dexter could return to the small screen. Nevins is the head of Showtime, so he would have the final say, but he said it was probably up to Michael C. Hall (Dexter himself).

“I would only do it with Michael. It remains to be seen if they’re going to want to do it, if I’m going to want to do it.”

As you may recall, Dexter left on a boat, on a journey into a new monotonous and "normal" life. If they were to proceed with a reboot, it would have to be different. It couldn't just be a simple continuation, according to Nevin.

Would it follow in the way of Breaking Bad and be a Better Call Saul type of spin-off?

What do you think?
