So that new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser just dropped. And suffice to say, it's really good. Haven't seen it? Check it out real quick:

While there isn't much to speculate, seeing how it's only a 50 second teaser, one thing is for sure in my opinion...

This whole scene, is a dream sequence (or nightmare sequence, which seems more fitting).

Why? Well let's take a look at the evidence.

Superman is shown as a villain

One thing we know for sure about Superman, is that he's essentially a boy scout. So for Zack and co. to make him a villain in his sequel, with no reason to really become one would be idiotic. Unless it's not really him. It would make sense that Bruce sees Superman as the bad guy not only in his reality, but in his subconscious as well. Plus, showing a truly evil Superman this early into the game would upset plenty of fans.

Batman is in the desert suit, snapping necks

It has been speculated ever since the Comic-Con trailer came out that it wasn't really Ben in that suit. Mainly because he is shown snapping one of the soldier's necks. But now, it seems that it was truly Affleck under there, as shown by the unmasking.

His face is of pure anger. Now, we all know Batman's golden rule: No killing. And I know Zack isn't dumb enough to mess with something that has become such a large part of the character, unless it wasn't really him. It's set up perfectly that Bruce can easily become this killer, and the world can go to war if he does not stop Clark.

And if that wasn't enough, look at the name of suit he's wearing:

Knightmare Batman? Very clever Warner Bros.

To me, this seems like a pretty strong indicator that this whole scene is a dream sequence, much like the one in Man of Steel. But hey, I've been wrong before.

What do you think? Is this scene a dream? Or is Batman really in Superman's clutches? Let me know what you think in the comments, and follow me for more content.

Is this a nightmare sequence?
