The ENTIRE interwebs is in an uproar about the NEW footage from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

I've got some ideas of my own, and I would love to know what you think.

I'm new here, so I'm not going to attempt to eloquently describe the scene, you can watch it here (or not based, on if I know how to place a link... or not):

So Bats is chained up and, uh, never an issue before, so, NOT AN ISSUE. Supes is pissed, which is not surprising, as all of the B v S leaders have tried to present him as such. So what is going down here? Well, I'll tell you, despite the fact that I have ZERO intimate knowledge, but, I THINK I'M RIGHT.

That's what she said...

So here i go, let me have it...

I'm gonna say this comes early in the movie. Superman has a reverential crew (this part was shown in the trailer), he didn't ask for it, but he got it. They capture Batman in some kind of way, and Supes is pissed that the Caped Crusader allowed himself to be captured (he takes the cowl off simply to speak to him face to face - the mask might be a sticking point between them).

"How could you..." says the Man of Steel.

Bats escapes easily as Supes watches in awe (shown in trailer - not the "watching in awe" part, but the escape).

I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?
I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?

"To show you how helpless these people are..."

and... scene... Supes knows this guy is for real...

What do you think?
