Fox's Gotham may only take place in one city setting, but the show keeps things interesting by having an ever-changing cast of characters joining the scene. While we've seen our fair share of familiar Batman characters, the showrunners aren't afraid to add some new faces to the cast.

Variety reported the newest cast member is already familiar with playing comic book characters after playing the title character in the 1995 cult classic Tank Girl.

Lori Petty, who currently stars on Netflix's Orange is the New Black, will be joining the young Jim Gordon and Bruce Wayne as a mysterious character named Jeri.

According to Variety fans can expect to see her stir up some trouble with a wild band of murderous maniacs.

Jeri, the flamboyant and enigmatic hostess of an underground club where mass murder and art are celebrated in equal measure. Jeri gives clues to Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) during his hunt for his parents’ killer, but she and her gang of merry maniacs are less helpful when Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) comes calling.

Gotham just aired its mid-season finale and will return to Fox's Monday night scheduling on February 29.
