If my parents were movie stars and I didn't get a paltry five seconds on screen to brag about at dinner parties later in life, I would be pretty annoyed, but it seems like chance would be in fantasy me's favor!
It's only natural that plenty of celebrity parents are totally up for showing off their sprogs in cameo rolls, and sometimes they grow up into famous adults and return the favor!
Below are some awesome cameos you might not have known about, and you won't believe how cute Angelina Jolie was as a kid!
11. Vivienne Jolie-Pitt in 'Maleficent'
Vivienne Jolie-Pitt might be a mere toddler in Maleficent, but she is still instantly recognizable as a member of Angelina's brood.
10. Angelina Jolie in 'Lookin' to Get Out'
Vivienne wasn't the first member of the family to make a cameo alongside one of her parents, in 1982 a young Angelina also snuck herself a role in her father Jon Voight's movie. Awwww!
9 and 8. Maude and Iris Apatow in 'Knocked Up'
Maude and Iris Apatow made a hilariously memorable cameo alongside their mom, actor Leslie Mann. They also popped up again in This Is 40 (directed by their dad Judd Apatow), and from the look of the video below, they had a blast on set!
7. Viggo Mortensen's son, Henry, in 'The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers'
Viggo Mortensen's son, Henry, makes a brief cameo as one of the children preparing for battle at Helm's Deep and he certainly seems to have inherited his father's looks!
6. Rumer Willis in 'Striptease'
It might not exactly be a movie suitable for kids, but Rumer Willis made a cameo alongside her mom, Demi Moore, in Striptease. Rumer played Erin Grant's daughter who is at the center of a custody battle that forces her mother into stripping for money,
5. Lorraine Nicholson in 'Something's Gotta Give'
Jack Nicholson's daughter Lorraine had a teeny tiny role as "Young Girl in Market" alongside her dad in 2003's Something's Gotta Give.
4 and 3. Benedict Cumberbatch's Parents in 'Sherlock'
Both of Benedict Cumberbatch's parents are actors so it totally makes sense that they would pop up in Sherlock.
2 and 1. Aziz Ansari's Parents in 'Master of None'
Okay, so their parts were a lot more significant than a mere cameo, but I just had to include #AzizAnsari's parents in #MasterofNone because they made me laugh so much. Sure, they weren't the best but actors on earth, but they were so relatable with their tech troubles and unfathomable whims that I can't wait to see more of them!
